The Dubuque Chorale, Cadenza, and the Children’s Choirs conclude the concert season with a program exploring the duality of time. One kind of time is measured: the unwavering beat of a metronome, constant and precise. The other is deeply personal, expanding in moments of joy and contracting as the years seem to pass ever more quickly. From the lingering warmth of a lazy summer afternoon to the surprise of another birthday arriving all too soon, this concert reflects on the many ways we experience time.
